This has been such a fantastic project that I loved illustrating. Longlisted Artist in the World Illustration Awards 2022!

I’m delighted to announce that 'Home Truths', has been longlisted in the World Illustration Awards and is in contention to be shortlisted later in the year.

It's a graphic short story and illustrated short film based on ongoing conversations and engagement with residents at The Croft and Hollybrook Lodge nursing homes in Inchicore in Dublin 8. Interviewed during level 5 lockdown of the Covid-19 pandemic from September to November 2020, the residents reflect on their life experiences as they face the winter months, with poignant stories brimming with humour, tragedy, and hope.Home Truths was part of Dublin City Council Culture Company's creative engagement programme for Winter Lights, a Dublin City Council event.

Alliance Francaise Comic Book Festival Dublin

Attention comics and illustration lovers, Tuesday, May 17 @6pm is the launch of the Alliance Francaise Comic Book Festival Dublin. I am honoured to be joined with Juliette Boutant (France) where we will present our craft and go through the process of bringing an idea to its visual iteration. Two illustrators, two cultures, two different stories, two different styles. Live talks presented in English by illustrator Margaret Anne Suggs.
